1965 Fender Vibrolux Reverb Guitar Combo Amplifier - Used
This 1965 Vibrolux Reverb is a great example of the classic black panel Fender amplifiers we all know and love. The amplifier is in good condition for its age, showing typical signs of wear that we would expect on an amplifier from 1965. Some small tolex nicks, tears and dings, a bit of oxidation on some of the metal parts, screws etc.
Internally, the amplifier looks great and seems to be quite original. There are some replaced capacitors and some original ones still present. All of the power transformers are original and overall, the amplifier's circuitry and parts are mostly un-disrupted. The amplifier is fitted with two Oxford Speakers, but are missing the back logo/sticker. All of the codes date to be original to the amplifier.
This Vibrolux Reverb has a wonderful sound, it can be clean and lush but easily breaks up when pushed, almost reminiscent of the classic Bassman sound with its own twist.
In good condition, showing typical signs of wear of an amplifier from 1965.
