2007 Vox AC30H2L 50th Anniversary Edition Guitar Combo Amplifier w/Slip Cover - Used
This Vox AC-30 50th anniversary edition is enclosed in a natural mahogany cabinet, with classic Vox gold features, a quartet of EL84 power tubes, 1 x EF86, 3 x ECC83/12AX7, 1 x GZ34 (rectifier) and 2 12" Celestion Alnico âBlueâs, making this amp a beautiful piece of gear, and has the classic British sound to match the elegant look.
Channel 1 features 2 outputs wired in the traditional way which offers 6db gain difference between them, a 2 position bass shift switch, and a brilliance switch which gives the player more headroom when switched on, making this channel the EF86 preamp channel modeled after the circuits used by Vox in the 50's - 60's
Channel 2 is the top boost pre amp channel. Similar to channel 1, this channel includes two inputs wired with a 6 dB gain difference, but features treble and bass controls from the 1963 "Top Boost" circuit. These knobs are sensitive and change the tone significantly with minor adjustments, making this a very versatile amplifier.
This amp is in excellent condition with only one noticeable ding by the top right corner. Nothing that effects the integrity of the amp.
