Boss AW-3 Dynamic Wah Effect Pedal
The Boss AW-3 Dynamic Wah pedal is a fun and funky auto-wah with a pedalboard friendly footprint and some tricks up its sleeve. New to this iteration of the pedal is the "Humanizer" effect for better emulating human vowel sounds.
The AW-3 boasts inputs for either guitar or bass instruments, each voiced for the frequency range of the intended instrument. Up and Down modes provide auto-wah that effects the higher or lower frequencies more, and Sharp mode is a synth-y, more resonant effect. Humanizer add a bit more human character to the classic auto-wah formula or tap into tempo mode for auto-wah that stays in time with minimal effort. Of course, wah purists and control freaks will appreciate the optional expression control for precise wah sweepability. Controls for decay, sensitivity, and manual frequency adjustments help you dial in your preferred level of funkiness.
Like all Boss pedals, the AW-3 is built like a tank with an all-metal enclosure to ensure years of use. The Boss AW-3 Dynamic Wah ships with a 9V battery and accepts standard Boss-style 9V PSA power supplies (not included).
