The Alkene is the product of one of Browne's longest-running passion projects. Browne's Protein dual overdrive utilizes a double-barreled drive design – one of those barrels loaded with a green, "screamer" style Nashville overdrive. The Alkene is Browne's spin on the classic effect archetype with plenty of tube-style screams baked in under the hood.
