The Fire Bottle is a front end boost for magnetic pickups. It is designed to run first in a chain of pedals with a guitar cable - not wireless. It is build around an NOS Sylvania subminiature 6112 vacuum tube, and due to the availability of the tube the Fire Bottle was made in limited quantities. The tone stack is styled after that of a Fender Harvard, according to Effectrode, and the pedal features an internal trimpot to vary the Q position of the tone pot. The boost control, when set at full minimum, is a 0dB unity buffer tube preamp. A maximum 30dB of gain are on tap, allowing the Fire Bottle to act as a boost into an amplifier or other overdrive or fuzz pedals. This pedal operates at -12V DC power. Its original 12v wall wart power supply is included. For all you Voodoo Lab users, run the Fire Bottle on either out 1-4 with the "normal" dip switch UP.
