Electronic Audio Experiments Prismatic Wall Sympathetic String Resonator Effect Pedal

Electronic Audio Experiences reaches through the proverbial fourth wall right into our hearts with their Prismatic Wall pedal. This particular effect, a "sympathetic resonator," balances many different points of design and sound, creating an otherworldly fusion of sensations you won't find anywhere else.

Inspired by a reverb effect created by mic'ing the strings of a grand piano in a room full of amps, the Prismatic Wall is a new resonator effect altogether. At the strict center of the Prismatic Wall is a conversation between its left-brain, right-brain tendencies as a reverb and a synthesizer. Incoming signals (from a guitar, synth, or whatever you’d like) are met with a kaleidoscopic hall of synthesized strings, creating a multidimensional effect experience tinged with abstract detunings, resonant timbres, and triumphant character building. Balancing features as a truly inverted noisemaker primed for both stone-skipping randomness and carefully penned synthesized symphonies, Prismatic Wall can be whatever you need it to be.

In true EAE form, an extensive series of controls gives you the tools to navigate this synthesized wonderland. Onboard controls for Damping and Decay alter the brightness and sustain of the Wall's synthesized string symphonies while a simultaneous LFO section introduces some modulation into the equation in the event your multiverse wasn't in enough disarray. Digital implementations like MIDI and expression build the Prismatic Wall even higher, offering an even grander canvas on which to paint. The many (many) dimensions to trip and stumble into make the Prismatic Wall an endlessly cascading well of enveloping synthesis, resonant peculiarities, and dramatic irony. Maybe we're getting too flowery with these metaphors, but how could we not with a pedal like this?

Weaving intricate tapestries of synthesized strings, Electronic Audio Experiments and their Prismatic Wall reach out to pull you in.
