Epiphone L-00 Standard Acoustic-Electric Guitar, Vintage Sunburst
For a small bodied acoustic the Epiphone L-00 Standard delivers a perfectly balanced sound. Since the early 1900s, parlor style guitars were a common instrument to find laying around in living/sitting rooms due to their affordable price point and compact design. This L-00 takes inspiration from its vintage Gibson counterpart and features all-solid wood construction and a Fishman S-Core under saddle pickup to amplify its voice.
The L-00 is constructed from a solid spruce top and is paired with a mahogany back and sides. Thanks to its solid wood construction, the instrument will continue to sound better with age and play as time goes on. The body is finished in vintage sunburst and wrapped in white binding. The parlor body size sits comfortably in the players lap and is versatile enough to handle various play styles like finger-style and strumming with a full balanced tone.
A one-piece rounded C mahogany neck is glued to the body using a traditional tapered dovetail joint. The neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays and is crowned with 19 frets. Strings are loaded in the rosewood bridge and held in place with ivory plastic bridge pins before making contact with the bone saddle and nut. The historic '60s Kalamazoo shaped headstock house the Grover Mini Rotomatic tuning machines.
Complete with a premium gig bag, the Epiphone L-00 Standard is a welcomed addition to the Inspired by Gibson lineup.
