Previously only available from international import, the Texan is now handmade in Bozeman, Montana by expert Gibson luthiers. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides, the Texan produces rich and resonant tones. A Round D-shaped mahogany neck fits well into the hands of players to encourage exploration of the long-scaled Indian rosewood fingerboard. Modern innovations to the Texan include an LR Baggs VTC electronics system to bring the warm tones of the Texan into the studio or on stage.
