Fender 1983 Twin Reverb II 2 Channel 105W 2x12 Combo Amplifier - Used
The early 1980s were an awesome era for Fender amplifiers. The Twin II's were part of the first generation of Rivera-era Fender amplifiers. Known for their unique Fender-esque voice and slightly tighter midrange response, these amps departed from the classic Fender Bassman type circuit design of the previous generation. The Rivera era Fender amps produced a slightly more modern sound by comparison to their older counterparts. This particular Twin II is in good condition and was consigned by its original owner with full service records, schematics, original owners manual, original 1983 Fender brochure, and original receipt marked 9/17/1983. There is a small tear in the grille cloth and some minor oxidation on the footswitch, amp corners, and amp chassis. Otherwise, the amp is in great shape and completely functional.
This amp received a series of repairs and modifications. The amp was retubed and received a power switch replacement and recap in 2011. A preamp tube was replaced and the tube sockets were tightened in 2014. The reverb leads were cleaned and tuned up with a power attenuator installed in 2015.
This amp includes its original footswitch and a newer Fender amp cover.
