The American Professional Classic Stratocaster begins with a double-cutaway alder body. Decked in a high-gloss finish and a faded black color, this American Professional Classic series stakes its claim to vintage-inspired enlightenment with a fresh aesthetic choice.

From here, a satin-finished maple neck joins in in a Modern "C" profile. The Modern "C" neck falls in to familiar, modern Fender design patterns as it plays similarly to recent American series releases. A rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets matches for a fretting experience both precise and spacious. The board's 9.5" radius makes for a flatter, modern feel on the fingers.

For its voice, the American Professional Classic series welcomes a new take on vintage Strat single-coils. Coastline '57 Single-Coil Stratocaster pickups take the classic bridge, neck, and middle positions for a vintage-inspired sound with warmth, sparkle, and clarity as paramount characteristics. The middle position's single-coil features reverse-wound, reverse polarity design to balance out the tonal palette and give that little extra bit of nuance. What's more, these new Coastlines are fitted with a Fender Greasebucket tone circuit designed under its hood to retain signal clarity even when volume and tone controls are adjusted.

Topping off this American Professional Classic Strat, we have a number of sweet hardware specs. The American Professional Classic Stratocaster features a six-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge. An iconic Strat spec, this bridge enables all the great vibrato bends we've come to know and love alongside a synthetic bone nut and staggered ClassicGear tuning machines at the scale's opposite end.
