Inspired by 70 years of performance, the Fender American Professional II Stratocaster HSS celebrates it's heritage while building on it's legacy with modern refinements. 

The iconic contoured double-cutaway body is crafted from alder for its light weight and resonant properties. The body is finished in a high gloss Olympic White and features a tortoiseshell pickguard and backplate for vintage inspired flair.

The American Professional II's neck has been redesigned to offer maximum comfort and accessibility. Attached by 4-bolts, the satin maple neck sports a deep "c" neck profile, rolled fingerboard edges, and sculpted neck heel for easy access to the upper frets. Topped with a rosewood fingerboard and crowned with 22 narrow tall frets, this Strat plays real nice. 

Under the guard, the Strat uses a set of V-Mod II pickups to amplify its voice; a Double Tap humbucker in the bridge and 2 single-coils in the neck middle and neck positions. The humbucker can be split into a single-coil thanks to the push/push control on the tone knob. With the inclusion of a treble bleed circuit, highs are balanced out while reducing volume in quieter playing conditions. An upgraded 2-point tremolo system grants expressive pitch control while the bent steel saddles, bone nut, and standard tuners offer a stabile playing experience. 

Complete with a deluxe molded hardshell case, the American Professional II Stratocaster HSS is studio and stage ready.
