From the world-famous Fender Custom Shop, weighing in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces, this '56 Stratocaster Heavy Relic checks all the boxes. The two-piece ash body is finished in an Aged Olympic White nitrocellulose lacquer.  It's complimented by lacquered and aged tortoise guard and control cavity cover. The neck features a down-to-the-wood heavy relic over the 10/56 "V" profile. This late 1956 "V" shape is one of our most popular Custom Shop options. 1st fret depth is Fingerboard is the traditional vintage 7.25" radius but loaded with bigger 6150 medium jumbo fret wire.  Fender Custom Shop 50's Strat pickups are controlled with a modern 5 way switching configuration into 1 volume and 2 tones. All the spank of a 50's Stratocaster with access to the 2 and 4 positions from the factory.
