This Fender Custom Shop ’67 Stratocaster starts with a two-piece alder body cut in Fender’s striking and iconic double-cutaway Stratocaster form. The alder of this Strat is dashed with a Custom Shop Relic finish treatment and creates a starry scene among the dark Midnight Purple color and exposed alder grain underneath. Creating a deep celestial image upon the double-cutaway alder, this Custom Shop’s lacquer finish is rich and endless.

The two-piece alder of this Stratocaster’s body matches with a 5/4 quartersawn maple neck shaped in a 60 Style Oval “C” profile. Across the back of this maple, one can feel a stretch of unfinished Relic’d grain for a distinct grip in the palm. Playing across this neck from the highest to lowest registers, this Stratocaster’s neck impresses the unique texture of the wood, while remaining comfortable and effortlessly playable. This Custom Shop’s quartersawn maple is paired with a 9mm AAA rosewood fingerboard lined with twenty-one frets. A frequent and popular pick, 6150 Medium Jumbo fret wire forms this Strat’s set of frets for an easy playing experience on the fingers, in addition to a radius measuring 9.50”. This Custom Shop’s fingerboard is bound with parchment binding that visually contrasts the darkness of the rosewood.
