Fender Player II Modified Telecaster Electric Guitar, Maple Fingerboard, Electric Blue
The Fender Player II Modified Telecaster expands upon the already well established Player II Series with a plethora of upgrades for the modern player.Â
An iconic single-cut design, this Tele is cut from an alder body to deliver a punchy, balanced tone. Connected by 4-bolts and a neck plate, a comfy playing modern "C" shape neck is attached to the body. A 1-piece maple fingerboard tops it off with 22 medium jumbo frets and black dot inlays. Added features like rolled fingerboard edges and a satin finish on the back of the neck make this neck feel just right.Â
Under the pickguard, a set of single-coil Player II Noiseless Tele pickups live. Designed to give all the classic Tele "twang" and bite with non of the hum, they are a welcomed addition. You'll find your tradition master volume, tone, and 3-way blade switch on this Tele, with the addition of a push/pull on the tone pot for series/parallel wiring for fuller, fatter tones.
A string-through body for enhanced sustain is complimented by a 6-saddle bridge with brass saddles for better intonation and comfort while resting your picking hand. Running from the bridge, the strings rest on a TUSQ nut before finding their way into high quality locking tuners.Â
Finished in a eye catching Electric Blue gloss finish and including a Fender Deluxe Gig bag, the Player II Modified Telecaster makes for a fine addition to any collection.
