Starting out easily from square one, the Player II Modified Telecaster SH starts with a gloss-finished alder body shaped in that iconic single-cutaway Tele body. Fitted for performance, this body matches with a smooth satin-finished maple neck taking a Modern "C" profile shape. This maple neck fills out to a maple fingerboard bearing twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Perfect for playability, a 9.5" fingerboard radius imparts a modern and smooth feel.

Clocking in for overtime, Fender's Player II Noiseless Tele single-coil pickup drops in for classic Tele snap and twang. Accompanied by a Fender Player II Modified Humbucker pickup, this Tele is host to a wealth of sounds. These pickups summon great Fender tone as you've always known it alongside a treble bleed circuit and no unwanted hum. A push/pull tone control pot activates the humbucker's coil-splitting function, allowing even more single-coil tonality to enter the mix. A 6-Saddle String-Through-Body Tele bridge with block brass saddles lays out strings stably across from a TUSQ nut and Deluxe Cast/Sealed Locking tuning machines.
