Fender Vintera III Early '60s Stratocaster Electric Guitar, Seafoam Green
Welcoming a new series to the Vintera line, we have the Fender Vintera III Early '60s Stratocaster finished in gloss Seafoam Green. The Vintera III Early '60s Stratocaster offers players carefully crafted vintage recreations of beloved specs and colors from the early 1960s, with the added bonus modern craftsmanship and reliability.
Constructed from a contoured double-cutaway alder body, this Early '60s Stratocaster is finished in Seafoam Green, a custom color that gained popularity in the '60s. Alder, a classic tonewood choice from Fender for guitar bodies, is best known for its punch, midrange, and lively tone. Like its vintage counterparts, the Early '60s Stratocaster features an Early '60s "C" shaped maple neck – this profile is comfortably rounded and starts off slim at the nut and gradually gets chunkier towards the 12th fret. The neck is attached to the body with the 4-bolt vintage-style neck plate. The neck is topped with a 7.25-inch radius round-laminated rosewood fingerboard, and is crowned with 21 vintage-tall frets for more height than vintage examples, allowing for easier bends and modern playability.
For its voice, a set of Vintage-Style Early '60s single-coil pickups are loaded into the 3-ply mint green pickguard in the bridge, middle, and neck positions and are screwed into to the body. These single-coil pickups deliver the brighter, articulate glassy tones the Strat's of the early '60s are known for. Tone can be further adjusted to taste with the master volume, tone controls, and 5-way position blade switch.
Supporting the instrument's functionality, the six-point vintage-style tremolo system offers proper intonation and expressive pitch control, while vintage-style tuning machines with finer gear ratios provide solid tuning stability. The Stratocaster comes packed in a deluxe gig bag for easy transportation or protection while in storage.
With the Early '60s Stratocaster, you can play a piece history from Fender's golden era.
