This blissfully simple, vintage-inspired effect breathes massive overdriven character into any signal for an effect that runs the gamut from smooth, clean boost, to saturated sustain, to crushing, fuzzstorted fury. Simple Drive, Level, and Top controls shape the Model One intuitively with all the analog-authentic feel of an old amp – Drive pot scratchiness included, certainly intended and normal.

From here, a two-way Mode switch swaps the Model One between two gain structures – one hefty with plenty of room-filling volume on tap and one quickly turning dirtier, more compressed and saturated. These modes play lovingly with help from the effect's three-way Body switch that controls incoming bass frequencies to beef up the overall drive into, potentially, a formidable fuzzstortion to drive your whole rig forward. Standard nine-volt center negative power requirements bring the Model One's tangy tones to any board.
