The Les Paul Special was introduced in 1955 with a slab mahogany body, bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, two P-90 pickups with individual controls for volume and tone and a three-way toggle switch. This 1996 Les Paul Special follows almost the same formula but with Gibson's P-100 pickups. is in very good condition for its age. It has dings and dents throughout but nothing down to the wood. Its action is nice and low and there is plenty of life left in the frets. It comes with the original Gibson gig bag.
