This J-45 Standard comes out of the Gibson Custom Shop and features an Adirondack Spruce top as opposed to conventional Sitka Spruce. It was part of a run made for the Japanese market, and we were lucky to snag one for the East Coast before they were gone! Adirondack Spruce has made a slight resurgence in guitar building, after a new generation of trees had to grow and mature after the war effort of the 1940s. This tonewood is sourced in upstate New York and in the Adirondack Mountains.

This guitar boasts a blooming top end with a high threshold of volume. Its neck profile is a comfortable "C" shape fit for both vintage and modern Gibson fans. Other key features of this J-45 are the classic Mahogany back and sides construction, and gold hardware. A gloss finish throughout and double binding also add to the guitar's dazzling aesthetic.
