Brand new to the Gibson 2026 lineup, we have the Les Paul Studio Double Trouble. The Double Trouble model, original released in 2025 under the Les Paul Standard lineup, returns with a stripped down "everything you need and nothing you don't" approach, offering a great Les Paul for an even better value in this limited run release. 

Les Paul Studio models have always been revered for their straight forward design, offering players the traditional Les Paul experience without any added costs for cosmetic upgrades. The Les Paul Studio Double Trouble is crafted from a ultra modern weight relieved mahogany body and is topped with a plain maple cap. A tonewood pairing for decades to deliver the signature Les Paul warmth and chunk with plenty of attack and clarity. The body is left unbound and features a cherry sunburst.

For its neck, the Studio Double Trouble features a SlimTaper mahogany neck glued to the body through the traditional set-neck design. The neck is topped with a 12-inch radius rosewood fingerboard that is crowned with 22 medium jumbo frets and acrylic trapezoid inlays.

To amplify its voice, two Burstbucker Pro humbucking pickups, located in both the neck and bridge positions, offer drive and punch. The pickups are crafted from Alnico V magnets and are left uncovered to show off their double classic white bobbins, adding a bit of '70s flair. Tone can further be sculpted, with the 3-way toggle switch and push/pull controls on the volume knobs for coil-tapping.

High quality hardware like the aluminum stop bar tailpiece and Nashville tune-o-matic bridge keep intonation stable. Strings are tuned to pitch at the open-book headstock with the three-on-each-side Vintage Deluxe tuning machines with keystone buttons. The Double Trouble comes complete with a soft shell case, perfect for storage or for on-the-go travel. 

Representing the core attributes of the Les Paul, while offering modern upgrades, the Les Paul Studio Double Trouble is truly a players guitar.
