Utilizing NOS BC-107B transistors and a special momentary switch, the Super Hornet comes out stingin'. Greer Amps designed this pedal off the basis of the FOXX Tone Machine. With this design in mind, Greer took to modernizing the circuit while retaining its lovely vintage character. Full of buzzing energy, the Super Hornet's fuzzy voice is built upon by its octave control. When switched upward, the octave fuzz voice comes out to play with no additional interaction required. When switched downward into Stinger mode, the Super Hornet's Stinger footswitch allows for momentary engagement of the octave effect on the Super Hornet. This control allows players to step into their octave fuzz effect while keeping their foot planted and disengage the octave upon release of the footswitch.
