Gretsch 6120 SH '99 Brian Setzer Hot Rod - Used
This 6120 is in Excellent condition, with a clean finish and minor playing wear.
This is a 1999 Gretsch Brian Setzer Hot Rod. The Hot Rod series of Brian Setzer signature Gretsch guitars is a stripped-down version of his '59 6120 design with a single volume knob and three way switch - which is really where Brian lives on his 6120s. Besides that, this guitar is still equipped with Trestle bracing, TV-Jones designed pickups, and a Bigsby.
This Gretsch Hot Rod is loaded with chime and punch, wherever you're set on the pickups. Running the bridge pickup wide open into a pushed slapback delay is the ticket to the Setzer sound, and this Hot Rod accomplishes it in spades.
So what are you waiting for, daddy-o? Load up that Bel-Air, T-Bird, or Ford Windstar with a bottle of nitrous and get to Russo Music to get your hands on this axe.
