Harmony 1960 Rocket Sunburst With Hard Case - Used
From the year 1960 we have Harmony's iconic Rocket hollow body electric. Common for the times this guitar features a "U" shape neck that's fairly large. A larger neck profile like this fits the palm entirely but still makes it easy to roll your thumb over the shoulder. The Gold-foil bridge humbucker offers that thick but bright presence we always like to hear out of this style of pickup, it is perfect for blues and garage rock styles. The neck pickup delivers a very thick but mellow sound, which is perfect for jazz.
This 1960 Harmony Rocket is in good condition. It shows wear across the entire body. The back of the neck shows play wear from the 1st to 5th fret. A period correct pickguard was installed years ago. Tuners are in good shape and function smoothly. The neck pickup is missing its original wooden ring.
