The Tube Factor from Germany's Hughes and Kettner features a tube driven overdrive circuit in an easy to dial in pedal format. Controls for volume, drive, and "voicing" - which acts as a mid contour - are on the front panel. The Tube Factor features two gain stages, controlled by the "Factor 2 On" selector. Either gain stage does not have a drastic alteration in volume from the other. The Tube Factor is a true tube amp preamp in a pedal format, operating at amp-like response and voltage levels from being powered by 12VDV at 700mA (power supply included).
