The single-cutaway body features dark amber hued mango top/back/sides, offering a complex and beautiful wood grain that delivers natural and accurate tones. An off-white binding wraps the body, f-holes, and mango matching pickguard for subtle accents, adorned with gold hardware for simplistic shine.

A set 3-piece nyatoh and maple neck offers comfortability and contributes to the instruments resonant qualities, topped with a macassar ebony fingerboard and acrylic block inlays. Unique to the Expressionist series, Super 58 humbuckers are fitted in the neck and bridge, a favorite pickup choice of acclaimed jazz musicians originally found in their own Ibanez signature models. A Gibraltar Performer bridge is connected to a VT06 tailpiece, providing rich sustain, stable tuning, and effortless playability.
