The Iris Guitars MS-00 Acoustic Guitar blends classic design with modern playability, a quality shared by all the Iris products we carry and why they're a favorite of ours. Inspired by Martin 00-style guitars, this beauty boasts a Black, satin nitro finish and sounds delightful. 

A Sitka spruce top combined with a mahogany back and sides make this MS-00 Iris sing, reinforced by X-bracing, a staple in pre-war guitars. Measuring in at a comfortable depth of 3-5/8” to 4-3/8”, with 19-1/2” body length, this guitar evokes vintage-inspired playability and boasts Iris Guitar Co's attention to detail in its construction. 

Attached via a mortise and tenon joint, the neck offers a nut width of 1.6875 inches, with a familiar 24.75” scale length. It's topped with a smooth Indian rosewood fingerboard with classic white inlays graces the neck, and the fingerboard itself exposes 14 frets, before meeting the body.

The entire guitar is enveloped in a stunning open-pore satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. This thin, hand-applied finish allows the guitar to breathe, and its satin finish combined with its black color underlines the simplicity that this guitar offers. The contrasting white binding, measuring 1/8” thick along the body and neck, plus a white pickguard, add a touch of modernity, creating a visually striking aesthetic that complements the dark black beautifully. Golden age relic brass tuners with off-white buttons complete the instrument's modern-vintage look.
