The Kramer Eruption pickup is inspired by the unapologetic sounds of 1980s hard rock and metal. Many guitar players at the time were seen live or on MTV playing Kramer Guitars, and this pickup pays homage to that era of in-your-face, fun having, good time rock and metal. No hotel trashing required!

The Kramer Eruption pickup features Alnico 5 magnets, 4-conductor wiring for coil splitting options, and short leg baseplates to ensure easy direct replacement for most humbucker-routed guitars. The Kramer Eruption is also wax potted to remove all internal air space and will resist microphonic feedback. Corresponding Kramer Eruption neck position models are also available for a matched set of Eruption pickups.
