The foundation of The 84 is a sleek, high-quality alder body, finished in an Angel White Satin. Its neck is carved from one piece of hard maple with a contrasting walnut skunk stripe, and features the notoriously fast signature Kramer K-Speed SlimTaper "C" profile, as well as a maple fingerboard with twenty two frets and dot inlays. 

A Kramer USA Eruption humbucker at the bridge position is responsible for the tonal aspects of this guitar, designed by the legendary Jim DeCola. This pickup delivers a hot-rodded, '80s inspired tone that's controlled via a master volume knob with a push/pull series/parallel switch.
