The Spider Valve series from Line 6 was a collaboration with Germany's Reinhold Bogner to introduce the flexibility and programming capabilities of Spider amp technology to a tube amp platform. The Spider Valve 2x12 combo includes known Spider platform features - six amp styles, onboard effects, and multiple preset banks with four quick recall channels. Bogner's contribution to the amp is an all-tube preamp and poweramp section. Instead of proprietary or special designed speakers, the Spider Valve 2x12 comes loaded with two Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. The Spider Valve features presets based on song style and decade, and also artist presets including those from 311, Albert Lee, and Meshuggah. The Spider Valve MKII is packed with versatility and flexibility and is easy to dial in virtually any tone from ambient clean to juggernaut gain stages.
