This Ludwig 4 Piece 71' Standard Kit is in very good condition. Some minor cosmetic flaws that would expect to find on drums from this time period. Bass drum batter hoop does not appear to be original. Minor scuffs and scratches on kit and hoops. Minor corrosion on hardware.

A very well taken care of "student level" kit from yesteryear. From what we understand, this series of drums were made from the same shells as any high end kit (maple/poplar/maple) but were made from less aesthetically pleasing wood. This explains the spray coating on the inside of the shells. These drums were very well taken care of and sound great. Perfect for any lower volume jazz/bop/indie-rock situations. They also mic up very well, so they'd be a great addition to a studio.
