The Marshall Studio Series JTM ST20C 1x12" Tube Combo Amp marks a striking addition to Marshall's celebrated Studio series. This amp reincarnates the very first Marshall amp, the one that came even before the iconic 1959SLP, now presented in a more compact, manageable 20W format. Despite its scaled-down structure, there's no sacrifice to the classic Marshall tone, delivering its legendary sound to the discerning musicians of today.

When it comes to the Marshall JTM amp, “portability” is not a commonly associated word, but that issue is non-existent with the Studio Series, and especially so with the JTM Studio 1x12 combo. Weighing in at a mere 39lbs, and carrying a modest 20” footprint, the small stage is no challenge for this Marshall, nor does it lack the classic JTM sound.

The combo is loaded with the popular Celestion G12M-65 Creamback speaker. This 12” driver takes flavoring from Celestion’s legendary G12M “Greenback” speaker, but with a higher power handling rated at 65w. This is the first combo in the Studio Series to feature a Celestion Creamback speaker, and second to the 2525C Jubilee amplifier to house a 12” driver.

As for the amplifier itself, the Studio Series JTM Combo features the same controls layout as the Studio JTM head: Two independent channels - High Treble and Normal - sharing a three band EQ and master Presence control, low and high inputs for each channel, and 20w/5w output power options selectable by way of the amp’s standby switch.

The ST20C combo also features 4-, 8-, and 16-Ohm speaker outputs, effects loop send and return with bypass switch, and a 1/4” DI out perfect for reamping in the studio or running direct to a speaker simulator or cabinet IR.
