The Martin 1937 Authentic D-28 is a faithful reissue of the guitars that came before, that set a benchmark in expert craftsmanship and tone. Those great ideas were expanded upon and the result is a model that features Authentic bracing, hide glue, cloth strip construction, and an adjustable truss rod. The guitar is constructed from an Adirondack Spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, Genuine Mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard. This model sports a "Stage 1 Aging" finish that shows off light cracking and crazing as if the guitar was kept in a case for decades.

This Martin D-28 comes to us from the original owner and is in very good condition. There are little to no signs of use. The Stage 1 Aging finish feels great on both the neck and body and give off that true broken in feel. The original Martin Custom Hard Shell case is included.
