The McCarty Singlecut 594 carries forward a design lineage shaped by the collaborative legacy of Paul Reed Smith and Ted McCarty. Originally introduced in the mid-1990s, the McCarty model honored the classic electric guitar archetypes of the 1950s while benefiting from modern production accuracy. The Singlecut 594 variant was developed to offer vintage-voiced tone, familiar ergonomics, and meticulous intonationâappealing to players like John Mayer and Mark Tremonti, both of whom have championed PRS instruments across a range of musical contexts.
This guitar features a carved maple top set against a solid mahogany body, offering the look and structure of a classic Singlecut silhouette.
