PRS SE Paul's Guitar Electric Guitar, Teal Black
Revised and upgraded for 2026, the PRS SE Paul's Guitar takes inspiration from "Sorcerer's Apprentice," one of Paul Reed Smith's earliest designs from 1982. New to the the SE line for 2026 are Wing Button tuners and new sloped pickup rings. The new tuners not only look great, but serve a tonal purpose as well. Due to the nature of the tuners being lighter in weight they allow the strings to vibrate more freely thus enhancing sustain.
Hosting's these new upgrades is a solid mahogany body with a flamed maple cap, an excellent tone wood pairing that has been used for decades. The body features a shallow violin top carve and beveled cutaway for comfort and accessibility. The top is then finished in Teal Black to show off its flame.
A mahogany neck is attached to the body in a traditional set-neck design and meets the body at the 20th fret. The wide fat neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard and is crowned with 22 PRS SE Jumbo frets and paired with the iconic birds inlays for fret markers.
To amplify the voice of this Paul's Guitar there are 2 PRS TCI "S" model humbuckers loaded into the body. These pickups were carefully engineered to offer maximum versatility and deliver a vintage sound. Tone can further be refined by using the on board volume, tone, and 3-way switch, as well as 2 mini toggle switches to split the humbuckers - offering up to 8 total pickup combinations.
Strings are loaded through the PRS Stoptail bridge with brass inserts that have been designed with curved strings slots to enhance resonance and sustain. From there, the strings are secured into place using the new tuners we discussed earlier, hope you didn't already forget, we know, there is a lot to be excited about!
Complete with a PRS gig bag, the 2026 SE Paul's Guitar is an all around player and reminder of great design, engineering, and inspiration.
