Surfy Industries SurfyFuzz Effect Pedal, V1.0
The Surfy Industries SurfyFuzz is a fuzz pedal designed to provide a wide array of tones while maintaining exceptional control over your sound. Developed in collaboration with fuzz freak Garrett Immel, known for his work with bands such as Satan's Pilgrims and Venturesmania, this pedal offers something truly unique to your pedalboard.
The heart of the SurfyFuzz is an analog circuit, inspired by the Fuzzrite-based design of Immel's rare and sought-after D-67. However, it's not just a clone; it's been heavily modified for today's player. Key to this modification is the innovative MASS control, a feature designed to prevent the common problem of fuzz tones losing definition on stage. Added to this is the HARMONICS function and several other circuit tweaks, taking the SurfyFuzz further away from its inspiration and cementing its place as a unique entity in the world of fuzz pedals.
Versatility is further enhanced by a toggle switch that introduces a second fuzz tone, reminiscent of late 60s Japanese octave fuzz pedals. This isn't a copy of a vintage fuzz; rather, it's an evolution, drawing inspiration from classic fuzz sounds while maintaining its own unique voice. Built with true bypass switching and flexibly powered by a 9-12 volts supply, this analog pedal is as user-friendly as it is tone-rich.
- Inspired by Modded Fuzzrite-Style Circuit
- True Bypass Switching
- Accepts 9V-12V DC Power
- All Analog Circuitry
- Switch Between Japanese and USA Fuzz Flavors
- MASS Control Keeps Fuzz Well Defined in Live Settings
