This limited-run Honeyburst 112ce sets out with a classic Taylor tonewood combo of Sitka spruce and layered sapele. Taking Taylor's standby Grand Auditorium cutaway body shape, this effortless body size matches solid Sitka spruce and sapele for a keen balance of brightness and bass. This balance is enhanced by the Sitka spruce's heat treatment which bakes out imperfections and bakes in a more lived-in quality usually found in much older guitars. The torrefied spruce additionally features a richer, darker color to complement its limited series' Honeyburst finish. Taylor Guitars' X-Bracing pattern lands with this torrefied spruce for a balanced, modern sound.

Here, Taylor brings on a Hard Rock maple neck with a smoked eucalyptus fingerboard. Italian acrylic inlays land across the frets for a cool, simple, understated visual element. These features for playability match with a number of aesthetic flourishes including a three-ring white rosette, simple black body binding, and clean die-cast tuning machines.
