Taylor 50th Anniversary Builderâs Edition 812ce Ltd Grand Concert, Sinker Redwood/Indian Rosewood

Taylor 50th Anniversary Builderâs Edition 812ce Ltd Grand Concert, Sinker Redwood/Indian Rosewood
As part of their 50th Anniversary celebration, Taylor Guitars brings out with pride this distinct entry in their historic catalog â their 50th Anniversary Builderâs Edition 812ce LTD. The first 50th Anniversary Grand Concert model, this limited piece features a wide array of distinguished materials and appointments to make for a fully impressive commemorative instrument.
This celebratory instrument from Taylor comes together with a number of fine materials to form the basis for an exceptional musical experience. The Taylor Grand Concert body shape is formed with back and sides of Indian rosewood and a top of coveted sinker redwood. Seldom seen as a combination and known for their distinct tonal qualities, these two tonewoods set this guitarâs course for a beautifully musical conclusion. Indian rosewood, revered for its bell-like treble tonality and rich bass response, is matched with northern Californiaâs sinker redwood to result in a guitar that is warm, touch-sensitive, and an experience all its own. This sonic engine is enhanced by Taylorâs V-Class bracing system that builds upon the audible output and articulation, as well as its distinct voice. The Builderâs Edition additions to the body of this commemorative instrument include a beveled armrest for easy handling, a body cutaway for easier access to higher frets, chamfered edges and a contoured Curve Wing bridge. A Taylor Guitars Grand Concert body shape contributes a shorter 24.875â scale length that imparts a slinkier feel on the strings for a comfortable and playable feel across the whole instrument.
A mahogany neck joins the equation on this Builderâs Edition model and is matched with a Crelicam ebony fingerboard. Gold-hued mother-of-pearl fret inlays line the ebony and match the bodyâs abalone rosette for a bright visual touch. A Kona edgeburst appears on the back and sides of this guitar for a dusky element while the bodyâs gloss finish elevates the aesthetic of the tonewoodsâ grains. Gotoh 510 antique gold tuners ensure stability in tuning and quick string changes. The total package of this anniversary edition model is topped off with onboard Taylor Guitars Expression System 2 electronics for seamless transitions from acoustic to electric playing. Along with this, a Taylor Deluxe hardshell case comes included for safe travels.
Manifesting so much of the beauty and tonality of Taylor Guitars, this 50th Anniversary 812ce LTD delivers an unmistakable Taylor experience to enjoy today and carry further.
