This Taylor A10E Academy Series Dreadnought is in very good condition with some pick scratches and marks below the soundhole. 

This is a Taylor A10E electric acoustic from the company's Academy series. The mission of the Academy series is to give someone new to the instrument everything he/she needs, and nothing unnecessary. Labor-intensive features such as binding, gloss finish, peghead laminate, inlayed rosette are non existent in the Academy series. Only the important features - such as a solid Spruce top and Ebony bridge and fingerboard - are presented in a Taylor Academy series guitar. Taylor also chose to incorporate a beveled armrest on every Academy series instrument. Beveled or contoured armrests are mainly featured on their highest end instruments from the 800 Deluxe series onward to Builders and Presentation series guitars.

Although Academy series guitars are intended for new players, a seasoned professional or working musicians can pick up this A10E and have a quality Taylor instrument at a price for everybody. For the live musician, this Taylor A10E features Taylor's ES-Mini system, which features an onboard volume/tone preamp with built-in tuner, powered by two cell batteries. It is also included in its original Taylor gig bag.
