Taylor Gold Label 717e Grand Pacific Acoustic-Electric Guitar, Sitka Spruce/Indian Rosewood

Taylor Gold Label 717e Grand Pacific Acoustic-Electric Guitar, Sitka Spruce/Indian Rosewood
A true celebration of one of Taylor's standby body styles, we have the Taylor Gold Label 717e. With its formal debut in Taylor's new Gold Label series, the Taylor Grand Pacific receives the red carpet treatment with aesthetic and structural modifications to make for the best version possible. It's a whole new world with the Gold Label collection, just take the first step.
The Gold Label 717e is a definitively evolved version of Taylor's classic Grand Pacific model. Starting with an expanded Grand Pacific body that fills out to being a full five inches deep at the soundhole. This fuller body depth allows for an increased "lung capacity" that builds upon the guitar's low-end response and volume. Despite its bigger body, this Grand Pacific is effortlessly playable and seamlessly slipped under the arm while playing.
This body is constructed from a torrefied spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. Taylor's classic heat treatment process imparts a lived-in tonal quality to the guitar's top usually reserved for much older guitars. These tonewoods, combined with Taylor's unique fanned V-Class bracing pattern, make for a strong sonic profile with a solid bass foundation with articulate and radiant highs.
Building upon the expanded body shape and unique tonewoods, the Gold Label 717e features a mahogany neck and West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard. Delivering that all-important Taylor playability, this Grand Pacific is a wonderfully accessible acoustic primed for performance. Onboard, L.R. Baggs Element VTC electronics translate the sounds of this Gold Label to the stage while its included Taylor Deluxe hardshell case protects it during travel. For any Taylor fan or acoustic player, this Gold Label series entry is a marvel of musicality.
Joining in on a refreshed new series, Taylor's Gold Label 717e is an acoustic that hits on every level.
