This Taylor recipe is sweetened by the Sitka spruce's heat processing, torrefaction, which bakes out imperfections and ages the wood for a more lived-in feel. The torrefied spruce also features a richer, darker look to complement the Honeyburst matte finish. An X-Bracing pattern enhances projection and balance across the model.

Taylor at this point brings on a mahogany neck and West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard. Italian acrylic dot inlays land across comfortable, smaller-scaled frets for an easy feel on the fingers.
