A classic Grand Auditorium body shape assembles with a couple new foundational specifications to breathe new life into so many aspects of playability. This all begins with a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. Classically fashioned with this iconic combo, the Grand Auditorium shape produces a rich and luscious voice. New scalloped V-Class bracing with a Relief Rout that balances the low-end response of traditional flattops and the top-end presence of traditional V-Class bracing.

This body is built out with a number of accents for enhancing playability and presentation. Rock maple body binding accentuates this Grand Auditorium's cutaway shape for a sleek edge. The cutaway shape in question, a Venetian Cutaway, offers more access to higher frets for smooth playability. This Next Generation 814ce is additionally fitted with a radius Indian rosewood armrest for a comfortable feel under the arm.

Reaching out, the Taylor Next Generation 814ce brings on a neo-tropical mahogany neck in a Taylor Standard Carve finish with a satin finish. This classic Taylor neck facilitates smooth, easy playing at all segments. What's more, Taylor's new Action Control Neck assembly makes adjustments even easier and more responsive. Joining in, this Next Gen Taylor brings on a West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard sporting Mother of Pearl Element inlays for a cool, visual element.
