Tech 21 SansAmp Classic Reissue Amp Simulator Effect Pedal
Back by popular demand, Tech 21 has reissued the SansAmp Classic for a limited run in 2026 for musicians looking for an all analog, studio/pedalboard friendly direct solution. Originally in production from 1989 to 2016, the SansAmp classic made a huge name for itself and was reissued previously in 2021.
Created by B. Andrew Barta, the SansAmp Classic set out to eliminate the common inconveniences of tubes amplifiers: transportation, repairs, consistency, and form factor. Through a decade of research and development, B. Andrew Barta found a way to recreate the best tonal characteristics of sought after circuits using compact electronic components.
The SansAmp features 3 distinct preamp style modeled after a Marshall, Mesa Boogie, and Fender. Additionally tone can be further refined using the onboard bank of 8 character dip switches. Use the PRESENSE DRIVE to shape the preamp contours in the upper mid-range and the AMP DRVIE control to shape the power amp contours. The HIGH control balances the final EQ and compensates for extra high end. A high quality speaker/cab sim offers a smooth, even response for sound output, but the unit can be used with external IRs as well.
There is a reason a classic stays a classic, whether it's for guitar or bass, the Tech 21 SansAmp Classic offers a solid, tone ready solution for the modern player seeking flexibility and reliability.
- Limited run reissue
- Amp and speaker cabinet simulator
- 3 selectable preamp styles
- 8 character dip switches to alter tone
- Versatile presense, drive, and high controls
- Made in the USA
