This is a prime example of a Gibson SG Bass. It packs plenty of midrange and lows thanks to the dual pickup configuration, and has a great deal of sustain due to the set-in neck. The short scale allows for plenty of bending and vibrato, and the instrument plays evenly across the rosewood board.

The bass is in very good condition. There are no visible dents or dings, but there is a good deal of light scratching across the front and back of the ebony finish.
