Yamaha PACP11S Pacifica SC Professional Electric Guitar, Sunny Orange
The Yamaha Pacifica PACP11S SC Professional blends timeless style with modern innovation for today's player looking for fresh inspiration. Made in Japan and built with precision, there is a lot to be excited about.
A single-cut ergonomic T-style chambered body is crafted from solid alder and is prepped for tone using Yamaha's Acoustic Design Technology - a scientific process in which 3D modeling is used to devise wood-routing techniques that increase body resonance and improve the transfer of vibrations between the body and neck. The body is finished in a Sunny Orange finish, which if we may add, looks fantastic.
Attached to the body by 4 bolts, a maple neck joins the body around the 17th fret. A rounded C shape neck profile is featured on the instrument with a satin finish to make getting around smooth. The neck is topped with a 9.5-12-inch compound radius rosewood fingerboard and crowned with 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets.
The body is loaded with 2 Reflectone pickups in a S-H configuration that have been designed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs. Tone can be further sculpted using the volume, tone, and Focus Switch. High quality hardware from Gotoh including a BC-TS1S bridge with 3-brass saddles and locking tuners are employed to keep the PACP11S's intonation and tuning stability solid while a Graph Tech TUSQ guides the strings to the tuners.
If that wasn't enough, once constructed the guitar undergoes Yamaha's Initial Response Acceleration (I.R.A) treatment which applies specific vibrations to the finished instrument to allow it to open up achieve the sought after "played in" feel and increase sustain. Give the PACP11S Pacifica SC Professional a spin, you'll be happy you did.
