The neck features matte-finished mahogany paired with a rosewood fingerboard and a 400mm radius, capped with 22 frets. The SLG200S employs Yamaha's SRT Powered pickup system, delivering a processed acoustic-style tone through headphones or direct output. Controls for volume, bass, treble, SRT blend, and onboard effects are housed on the side-mounted preamp. Additionally, a built-in tuner and dedicated jacks for headphones, auxiliary input, and line output are integrated into the body, supporting quiet practice and external audio playback.
