A maple fingerboard finishes this setup with twenty Medium Jumbo frets that offer a fluid fretting feel. A 9.5" fingerboard radius drops in for an easy feel on the fingers.

Sonically, this Jazz Bass drops in two Player II Noiseless single-coil pickups that produce all the punchiness the J Bass is known for. An all-new active preamp with an active/passive tone control and EQ section accompany these pickups for close tonal shaping for expressive new tone mixes. A 5-saddle HiMass bridge appears at the base of the scale for string sturdiness and solid intonation. Tapered-shaft open-gear tuning machines and a TUSQ nut align at the opposite end for effortless stringing. A Fender Deluxe gig bag travels with this Jazz Bass for safe trips from place to place.
