Behold the extremely limited Gibson Custom Dave Mustaine Flying V EXP, designed with the master of shred himself, Dave Mustaine of Megadeth. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a maple cap, wrapped in 5 ply binding and finished in an Ebony VOS nitrocellulose lacquer. The set mahogany neck has a bound 24 fret Ebony fingerboard with Mother-of-Pearl inlays and the Mustaine Slim Taper profile. The bound Explorer-style headstock features truss rod cover engraved with the Mustaine’s signature, and nickel mini-rotomatic tuners. The scale length from the Tune-O-Matic bridge to the Graph Tech nut measures 25.5”. A Chevron string-through tailpiece matches the nickel hardware, as do the silver inserts on the 3 witch hat knobs. Controls are two-volume, master tone, 3-way toggle. Seymour Duncan Mustaine Thrasher pickups are based on the JB and ’59 Duncans that Dave used to create a bulk of the iconic “Rust in Peace” album.

Production is limited to 75 pieces global, and each guitar comes with a Custom Dave Mustaine hardshell case.
