Behold the extremely limited Gibson Custom Dave Mustaine Flying V EXP, designed with the master of shred himself, Dave Mustaine of Megadeth. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a figured maple cap, wrapped in 5 ply binding and finished in a Red Amber Burst nitrocellulose lacquer. The set mahogany neck has a bound 24 fret Ebony fingerboard with Mother-of-Pearl inlays and the Mustaine Slim Taper profile. The bound Explorer-style headstock features truss rod cover engraved with the Mustaine’s signature, and gold mini-rotomatic tuners. The scale length from the Tune-O-Matic bridge to the Graph Tech nut measures 25.5”. A Chevron string-through tailpiece matches the gold hardware, as do the inserts on the 3 witch hat knobs. Controls are two-volume, master tone, 3-way toggle. Seymour Duncan Mustaine Thrasher pickups are based on the JB and ’59 Duncans that Dave used to create the iconic “Rust in Peace” album.

Production is limited to 75 pieces global, and each guitar comes with a Custom Dave Mustaine hardshell case.
