Black Rainbow Holoflake all the way across the sky? While you're probably still enjoying that reference, we're going to keep ranting about what makes this refreshed S2 Vela so neat.

In traditional Vela fashion, a solid mahogany body is given an offset, double-cutaway design with a asymmetric top carve bevel for comfort. The body is finished in a cosmic Black Rainbow Holoflake and paired with a sleek black pickguard. To amplify it's voice, a PRS DS-01 in the bridge position and PRS Narrowfield in the neck position are called to action. Pairing well together, they provide full midrange and top end clarity - great for balancing out the warmer tones of mahogany. Tone can be further refined with up to 5 configurations, thanks to the push/pull on the tone control.

Attached to the body in a traditional set neck design, a 25-inch scale length mahogany neck meets the body at around the 19th fret. A rosewood fingerboard with Birds inlay fret markers tops the neck and is crowned with 22 frets. The "Pattern Regular" neck profile provides an easy going play experience. Strings are loaded through a fully intonating vintage-inspired plate style bridge and are strung to pitch with the PRS Phase III Non-Locking Tuners with Wing Buttons.

Complete with a PRS premium gig bag, the S2 Vela has never looked or played as good as it does now.
