Jeff Tweedy of Wilco has been one of the main instigators of alternative music since the mid 1990s. In 2012, he was honored by Gibson with a limited ron of 200 signature SG's.
Dressed in Blue Mist with nickel hardware and cream covers and pickguard , this guitar oozes vintage vibe, with a left-of-center approach. It is the classic mahogany SG, but with a pair of Burstbucker 1 pickups for incredibly accurate articulation, and Orange Drop capacitors on the tone pots to maintain hi-end rolloff.
The maestro-style vibrato is incredibly stable and allows for an easy restring, and the Tune-o-Matic adjustable saddles keep intonation in check.
